What it is

After a first year of economics, tourism services and resources, travel geography, intercultural communication and tourism anthropology, you study management, marketing, accounting, business law and sustainable tourism business. Practice is a large part of the programme: a professional internship in a business enterprise in the second, fourth and sixth semesters, plus educational visits to hotels and attractions. In year three you choose either Tourism Management or Hotel Management. A double degree with LAB University of Applied Sciences in Finland is available. Graduates work in hotels, travel agencies, tourist information centres and wellness or leisure businesses.
