What it is
The programme focuses on crisis intervention methods and social work practice: managing difficult situations and giving timely help to socially disadvantaged people and groups, with emphasis on the personal strength and leadership of a future social worker. Graduates work in municipal social support departments, addiction centres, homes for the elderly or children, social service centres, NGOs, health care institutions and hospitals, and can continue in social work, health care management, public administration, social pedagogy or management.
