What it is
You study political science, international relations, development theory, economics and research methodology, together with political philosophy, conflict studies, negotiation, project management and intercultural communication. Research is built in from the start: a research proposal in year one, primary data collection in years three and four, and an independent thesis project at the end. Two supervised practicum courses place you in real-world work settings. Classes are small. Graduates work in diplomatic missions, public institutions, NGOs, development cooperation, human rights organisations and research institutes, or continue to graduate study.
What you need
- Completing the IB or European Baccalaureate replaces the English test. Admission scores your last three school years (40%), English (30%) and an interview (30%). No subject requirements.
