What it is
The five-year integrated degree combines general education (aesthetics, philosophy of art, art history, mathematics) with construction techniques, building materials, construction physics, urban planning, heritage conservation, sustainable architecture, twentieth-century architecture history and computerised design methods, plus drawing and painting. Applied research and design projects make research the starting point of the creative process, and architectural composition, building design, structural design and environmental planning form the specialist core. Professional practice and a final project close the degree. Graduates work in architectural firms, planning institutions and government agencies, and can become project leaders after two years of practice.
What you need
- No IB-specific rule. Admission is 50% digital portfolio and 50% online interview; English at B2 (IELTS 5.5) and a school certificate recognised by SKVC are needed.
