What it is
The degree is practice-based and research-informed, with studio work at its core and experimentation with materials, metal and jewellery techniques, sustainable material technologies, digital tools and new media, and traditional hand skills. Body-object-space thinking, interdisciplinary and installation approaches and theory in contemporary art and design discourse complete the study. Graduates become independent jewellery and metal artists, contemporary jewellery designers, workshop leaders, cultural project developers or creative entrepreneurs, and can continue to a master's in art or design.
