What it asks of IB students

Entry is set course by course (e.g. an MCAST Level 4 Advanced Diploma, or A-level and I-level passes). An IB Diploma is a non-Maltese qualification and needs an MQRIC statement; ask MCAST if your results meet a course.

Worth knowing

MCAST says its courses are free for Maltese and EU candidates; non-EU candidates pay per-level fees.

All 3 notes
  • MCAST says its courses are free for Maltese and EU candidates; non-EU candidates pay per-level fees.
  • Applicants with qualifications not awarded by a Maltese institution need an MQRIC statement for each one, plus B2 English (for example IELTS 5.5) unless an English-language qualification covers it.
  • Most degrees are vocational with work-based learning; Performing Arts adds an interview and audition, and some courses need medical clearance.
