What it asks of IB students

SMI states Maltese entry (Matriculation or A/I-level passes). International equivalents such as the IB are judged case by case by SMI and the University of London. Computing also needs Maths at SEC O level or equivalent.

All 3 notes
  • SMI's own site lists more named degrees than these three: its own computing BSc (Hons) specialisms, Banking and Finance, and Business and Management; none has a page of its own, so ask SMI which run in 2027.
  • SMI says it confers qualifications at MQF Level 5 and that its Level 6 degrees are awarded by the University of London, which sets and marks the May examinations; the UoL pages show their own intake dates.
  • SMI charges a non-refundable €125 application fee; its tuition page says no fee is payable until you finish your degree through the Studies+ loan, and does not say whether University of London fees are included.
