What it is
Living Systems, Advanced Materials, Cyber Systems or Future Energy. Year one introduces at least two of the specialisations through design-build projects, and the third year leaves room for a semester abroad or an industry project. About 60 per cent of the students are international, so it suits you if you want an engineering degree in English without having to pick your exact branch at 17.

DP Course Results (formerly the IB Certificate) of at least 18 points, with at least grade 3 in all six subjects and at least three subjects at HL, are a qualifying examination in Denmark on the same terms as a two-year hf without overbygning: they give access to erhvervsakademi- and professionsbachelor programmes through quota 1 and quota 2, and to a university bachelor only after two successive raises of upper-secondary subject level, at least one to A level, taken as hf-enkeltfag. Course Results under 18 points, or containing any subject at grade 1 or 2, are not a qualifying examination at all. A full IB Diploma of 24 points or more gives access to every higher education programme in Denmark.
