Worth knowing

DTU states: "DTU currently offers one English-taught full degree BSc programme in General Engineering.

All 4 notes
  • DTU states: "DTU currently offers one English-taught full degree BSc programme in General Engineering. All other undergraduate programmes are taught in Danish, but we offer a wide range of individual courses in English."
  • The Danish-taught undergraduate degrees come in two families: BSc Eng (civilingeniør, a 3-year academic bachelor) and BEng (diplomingeniør, a 3.5-year professional engineering degree, many of them taught at DTU's Ballerup campus). Both require Danish A and are described only on DTU's Danish-language site, so they are not listed here.
  • No published quota 1 cut-off exists for General Engineering. DTU explains the cut-off only becomes known when admission closes on 28 July each year.
  • DTU does not publish an IB results-service (IBIS) institution code on its English admission pages; instead it asks IB applicants to authorise release of the diploma through the IB's online database.
