What it is

Economics, politics, organisations and methods — followed by two years in two chosen subjects from Business Administration, Business Studies, International Studies, Communication Studies, Cultural Encounters and Social Psychology of Everyday Life. It is the RUC route for students who want business or politics but want to keep two options open rather than commit to one now.

Entry requirements and admission rules for International Bachelor in Social Sciences.

  1. RUC – Specific admission requirements institution

Read 2026-09-22. Applies to the 2027 autumn intake.

  2. Uddannelses- og Forskningsstyrelsen (Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science) national agency

DP Course Results (formerly the IB Certificate) of at least 18 points, with at least grade 3 in all six subjects and at least three subjects at HL, are a qualifying examination in Denmark on the same terms as a two-year hf without overbygning: they give access to erhvervsakademi- and professionsbachelor programmes through quota 1 and quota 2, and to a university bachelor only after two successive raises of upper-secondary subject level, at least one to A level, taken as hf-enkeltfag. Course Results under 18 points, or containing any subject at grade 1 or 2, are not a qualifying examination at all. A full IB Diploma of 24 points or more gives access to every higher education programme in Denmark.
