No German needed; English B2. An unscored online self-assessment, then a written exam in Vienna on English, maths and business basics.

What it asks of IB students

A passed IB Diploma; beyond languages, WU sets no subject combination or minimum grades. Every bachelor's needs its selection procedure; the German ones need German C1 (German A HL 6, A SL 7 or B HL 7).

The BBE selection runs once a year in spring, before IB results; details of the 2027/28 procedure are due in mid-November 2026.

  • The BBE selection runs once a year in spring, before IB results; details of the 2027/28 procedure are due in mid-November 2026.
  • You can register for the selection in your final school year and show your school certificate only at admission, from July.
  • A pass in the selection is valid only for the winter semester straight after it, so you cannot defer.
