What it is
Attack-and-defence training: you learn to think like a hacker and use their tools to secure networks, cloud and industrial systems, with an internship at home or abroad. Taught entirely in English in Bruges.
What you need
- Howest expects at least four hours of maths a week at school; prior computing knowledge is useful but not needed.
Requirements in full
Every IB applicant at Howest
A diploma giving access to university at home, B2 English and a motivation letter. The IB counts for English if taught in English, or with English A/B HL at 5 or English B SL at 6. €50 fee.
How places are decided
- No entrance test or ranking: a qualifying diploma, B2 English and a motivation letter admit you. Howest may close a programme once one country hits its limit.
