What it is

Sociology and economics studied side by side, with maths and statistics, in a broad first year; from year 2 you major in business economics, economic analysis, social-economic analysis or sociological analysis.

What you need

  • Maths proficiency recommended; the compulsory maths test applies to non-EEA degrees, and UAntwerp treats the IB as an EEA degree. Four majors from year 2.

Every IB applicant at UAntwerpen

An IB Diploma verifiable on IBIS gives direct access. IB with English passed at 'Language 1 (min. 5) or Level A (min. 3)' exempts you from an English test; otherwise IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 80.

    • Everyone eligible is admitted
    No selection or cap: with an IB and no visa needed you enrol directly from July. Good maths is recommended.
