A shared Level 1 Engineering year of project-based, hands-on classes, then 11 disciplines from Chemical to Software, with flexible co-op terms. Start in the Discovery Track to explore, or apply straight to a discipline.

Every IB applicant at McMaster
IB Diploma with six subjects, three HL and three SL, plus TOK and EE; bonus points count in a total out of 45. A minimum 80% average is needed to apply; each program sets its own minimum.

How places are decided
- Marks plus a required video-based Supplementary Application assessing engagement, collaboration, creativity and resilience. Discovery Track places are decided later on Level 1 GPA.
