What it is
The degree covers health, safety and environment, industrial safety, fire protection, crisis management and security, together with management skills. You learn occupational safety, fire protection, security policy and process safety, and how to identify risks, design incident prevention and reduce risk with evidence-based methods. It leads into the HSE Professional master's. Graduates work as industrial and corporate security specialists, emergency management officers and crisis managers in companies of all sizes, government bodies and private organisations.
What you need
- GAP test at the 40th percentile or better plus your penultimate-year school average; B2 English certificate unless your schooling was in English.
Requirements in full
Every IB applicant at VSB-TUO
VSB accepts a certified copy of the IB Diploma with no CZK 800 assessment fee. It asks for no IB points or subjects; each faculty ranks on its own test, or on a school average plus an English test.
How places are decided
- Score = 0.7 x GAP percentile + 7.5 x (5 minus your school average); best scores fill 30 places. GAP by 20 February 2027. Ask FSE how IB grades convert.
