What you could study here

Worth knowing

Each VIA programme page says every specific subject must be passed with a minimum average of 2.0 on the Danish scale.

All 6 notes
  • Each VIA programme page says every specific subject must be passed with a minimum average of 2.0 on the Danish scale. Applicants with non-Danish qualifications are asked for a verification form, stamped by their school, that confirms the hours taught in each required subject over the last three years.
  • The English-proficiency rule is shared across VIA: English at Danish B level with a weighted average of at least 2.0, or an accepted test such as IELTS Academic 6.5. A test cannot replace English where a programme names it as a specific requirement.
  • Software Technology Engineering, Cybersecurity specialisation (Horsens) is not listed here. Its first intake is February 2028 ("Apply in 2027 for study start in February 2028"), so it has no autumn 2027 place.
  • Branding and Marketing Management and Fashion Design appear in VIA's list as AP degrees. They are the two specialisations of Design, Technology and Business, chosen when you apply, so this site shows them as that one programme.
  • The Animation Workshop pages redirect from en.via.dk to animationworkshop.via.dk, and its application steps only appear in a browser.
  • VIA teaches in Danish on its other campuses (Aarhus among them). Only the three campuses with an English-taught first degree are listed here.
