What it is
Two engineering degrees are combined, so the early years cover mathematics, statistics, physics and programming, then machine learning, cloud infrastructure, neural networks, databases and software engineering, and later Bayesian analysis, distributed computing and the management of information systems. Real-world projects supervised by industry experts run through the course, along with labs for high-performance computing, virtual reality and data analysis, and a compulsory internship in the fourth year. You complete the business information systems track and can add bioinformatics or open electives. Graduates work as data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, security engineers, IT directors or consultants.
What you need
- Apply with your grades, a motivation letter and ID, then interview. IB holders need the UNEDasiss credential to enrol. English-track students certify B2 English by the end of year 2.
