Deadlines
What it is
The five years move from biology, anatomy, physiology, biochemistry and psychology into microbiology, pharmacology, biomaterials and head and neck anatomy, then paediatric dentistry, oral pathology, orthodontics, prosthetics and surgery, and finally periodontics, implantology, endodontics and maxillofacial surgery. Clinical training is central: students practise first in a simulation hospital and on a university polyclinic, and from the third year treat real patients under supervision. Electives include practice management and oral microbiota. Graduates work in private practice or hospital dentistry, research, teaching and public health.
What you need
- Apply with your grades, a motivation letter and ID, then interview. IB holders need the UNEDasiss credential to enrol. English-track students certify B2 English by the end of year 2.
