What it is

Econometrics, political science, applied analytics, behavioural science and technology are studied together, including the effects of automation, e-platforms, artificial intelligence and big data on the economy, and behavioural and experimental economics. The first three years build the foundations, and in the fourth you specialise in either country, sector and policy analysis or economic and financial analysis for business. The first two years can be in Segovia before moving to Madrid. Graduates work as economic consultants, financial market analysts, policy developers, equity analysts and government research consultants.

What you need

  • Full IB Diploma, first-sitting results only. Most admits score 34–45 (student average 36). IE's own test (or SAT, ACT, LNAT) and an interview.
