What it is

The first year covers financial mathematics, business administration, economics, introductory accounting, statistics and law, then financial accounting, financial economics and derivatives, and later cost management, risk management, financial statement analysis, auditing and corporate governance, with electives such as sustainable finance and big data analytics. Professional internships with banks and audit firms are available, a bachelor thesis closes the degree, and teaching is bilingual in Spanish and English. Graduates work as financial analysts, risk managers, auditors, consultants and civil servants in regulatory bodies.

What you need

  • Taught in Spanish and English groups; choose the English group at enrolment. UC3M may ask for Spanish B2 for a Spanish-taught or bilingual degree.
