Deadlines

  1. 12 November 2026

    Advance Offer Round: application deadline
    Details

If you miss it, the same application goes into the Regular Round.

CUHK's Important Dates page is headed "2027 Admissions Exercise" and reads "12 Nov 2026 — Application Deadline for Advance Offer Round". Missing it does not close the door: CUHK states that only one application is required and that "applicants who are not selected for an advance offer will automatically compete on equal footing with all other applicants in the Regular Round". Notifications to successful Advance Offer applicants run from December 2026. Applications open in October 2026 and CUHK holds an Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions on 17 October 2026.

    Regular Round: application deadline
    Hard deadline
    Details

Published as "7 Jan 2027 — Application Deadline for Regular Round". This is CUHK's last date; the first teaching term commences in early September 2027, and registration and course selection run August to September 2027. CUHK's page gives Regular Round notifications "From Feb 2026", which, between a January 2027 deadline and August 2027 registration, is probably a misprint for February 2027. A successful applicant must pay a first instalment of composition fees of HK$10,000 and complete acceptance by a specified date or the offer becomes void.
