What it is
The first four semesters cover the foundations of electrical engineering, and the last three are devoted to one of two specialisations, Automation or Infocommunications, though you may take electives from either. The programme is taught project by project, giving you insight into industrial projects while you study. Infocommunications graduates work as network planners, system integrators or IT security experts, and Automation graduates as robotics engineers, PLC programmers, automation system designers or operators of manufacturing systems. Other paths include sensor development, data processing, the energy sector and smart-city solutions.
