What it is
An economics core is combined with tourism and hospitality courses, optional vocational subjects and two foreign languages, with a project-oriented approach to teaching. In semesters seven and eight you complete a twelve-week professional placement each, at tourism or hospitality organisations, in the university's training restaurant and hotel, or through international partners, which also builds links with regional and international organisations. Graduates work in hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, regional organisations, local governments, museums and tourism marketing, as event organisers or in village tourism and gastronomy, and can continue to a master's.
