What it is
You build a base in three areas: molecular biology, medicinal chemistry and computer science. Courses cover molecular biology, biomedicine, genetics, pathology and immunology, medicinal chemistry and pharmaceutical technology, together with programming, algorithms for molecular biology and drug chemistry, and mathematical, physical and statistical methods. The aim is to understand how active compounds are found and how information technology is changing that work. Graduates are prepared for basic and applied research in university and industry labs, biotechnology firms, and scientific publishing and communication, or for further study.
What you need
- SAT or CEnT-S for pre-selection.
