What it is
The six-year English-taught curriculum joins basic science and clinical activity, organised in integrated teaching blocks from the first year. Learning is by problem-based methods in small groups and discussion of clinical cases, with visiting professors from European and North American universities and exchange programmes with foreign universities. You get early experience in research laboratories, following a translational, bench-to-bedside approach. The degree qualifies you to practise as a physician after a positive evaluation in the training internship and registration, and it is the route into residency programmes and specialty schools, in a range of clinical, healthcare and biomedical roles.
What you need
- National admission test in English, same day at every Italian public university with English Medicine: 60 questions on logic, biology, chemistry, physics, maths.
