What it is

A science programme for international students: everyone studies maths, physics, chemistry and biology at university level for six months, then joins Physics, Chemistry or Biological Sciences in the School of Science. A 3.5-year fast track is possible.

What you need

  • Any IB Maths
  • Physics, Chemistry or Biology (SL or HL)Basic knowledge of all three sciences is expected.

Every IB applicant at Hokudai

An IB Diploma held or expected by 30 September 2027 qualifies, with predicted grades accepted on the school's certificate. English proof is TOEFL iBT 79, IELTS 6.0 (ISP) or 6.5 (MJSP), unless you studied in English.
