What it is
Seven semesters combine anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and microbiology with general, surgical, therapeutic, geriatric, mental health, emergency and intensive, children's, maternity, palliative and community nursing. Much of the time is clinical: simulation classes with mannequins and acted situations, then professional internships in primary care centres and in second- and third-level hospital departments. Study or placement periods abroad are possible through Erasmus+, and a double diploma with XAMK in Finland is offered. A final internship and thesis close the degree. Graduates work as nurses in hospitals, clinics, doctors' and nurses' practices and community settings.
