What it is

The first years build mathematics, physics, inorganic, organic and physical chemistry, chemical analysis, engineering graphics and general chemical technology, then move on to instrumental analysis, materials science, process engineering, process modelling and chemical thermodynamics. The final year brings chemical engineering design, a project practicum, a professional internship and the bachelor thesis. You work in process research and control laboratories and choose between Organic Materials (plastics, elastomers, refining, paper and textiles) and Inorganic Materials (acids, fertilizers, ceramics, glass). A double degree with the University of Carthage is possible. Graduates work as technologists and project engineers, including in hydrogen and renewable energy.
