What it is

You combine mathematics, physics, chemistry and materials science with textile technologies, clothing pattern construction, fashion design and digital tools such as Lectra, Gerber CAD and Adobe Creative Suite, and later functional textiles, textile recycling, knit design and virtual fashion creation. Teaching includes pattern modelling, prototyping and garment construction in labs, digital design studios, company visits and real-world cases, with exchange semesters at European partners such as Boras and Liberec. A bachelor thesis or professional internship ends the degree, and electives let you lean toward design, marketing, business or virtual fashion. Graduates work as clothing designers, textile experts or virtual fashion specialists.

KTU scores your IB grades: maths or a programme subject, a second subject and English, each above 60%. English needs B2 (IELTS 5.5 or equivalent). Finishing the IB adds 0.5 bonus points.
