What it is
You study the histories of European regions from the Mediterranean to the Baltic and from west to east, together with applied subjects such as heritage communication, geopolitics, climate change and digital humanities, and themes including conflict resolution, human rights, migration, nationalism and epidemics. Teaching is in small groups, mixing on-campus and online courses, and builds research, dissemination and communication skills. Graduates go into education, research, museums, archives and libraries, heritage conservation, journalism, public affairs and teaching.
