What it is

Early semesters cover mathematics, economics, business law and management basics; later modules combine financial management and marketing with green chemistry, biomaterials, circular economy, agricultural systems, biotechnology and sustainable bioenergy. Two practicums, in semesters five and eight, give workplace training, and a bachelor thesis closes the degree. Partner companies give lectures and offer internships and project topics, and Erasmus+ exchanges are available. Graduates work as managers, project managers, sustainability consultants and marketing or sales specialists in bioeconomy organisations, or in related ministries.
