What it is
Three tracks, English Language, English-Scandinavian Languages, and European Languages and Business Studies, combining English linguistics and culture with a second European language and, in one track, business.
What you need
- The state-funded places need proof of Latvian proficiency and a Latvian grade in the ranking; fee-paying places do not.

Every IB applicant at University of Latvia
No IB-specific page: the Diploma counts as a general secondary diploma. Each degree sets minimum grades on Latvia's 10-point scale; English B2 shows on your certificate or via IELTS 6.0.
How places are decided
- Fee places need a passing certificate and English B2, then an online interview; state-funded places are ranked on grades and need Latvian. 2026 criteria.
