Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
Physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics are taught at their intersection in a broad but rigorous first year, with extensive guidance from accessible teaching staff and laboratory work. Later you specialise in one of three directions: physical-chemical, biological-physical or biological-chemical, with advanced topics such as quantum mechanics, nanoscience, biophysics, DNA techniques and the analysis of molecular biological data. Graduates work in industry on scientific innovations such as solar cells, microchips and biodegradable plastics, in research needing interdisciplinary approaches, or as teachers, who are in high demand.
