Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
Year one covers media aesthetics, media theory, media research and the transformation of media culture, with courses called Doing Media Studies that build practical and creative skills. In years two and three you follow one of two tracks: Film Studies, on film history, theory and global cinema alongside filmmaking, or Television and Cross-Media Culture, on serial forms and digital platforms. Both include practice-based production in small groups, making a short film, documentary or television programme. Year three has space for electives, a minor, an internship or study abroad, and a thesis on a topic of your choice.
What you need
- Full IB Diploma needed (IB courses alone are not accepted); English as an IB exam subject covers the English requirement.
