Applications closeHard deadlineDetails
Published as "Application deadline for all applicants to music performance programmes" on 15 December, with no year; this site assumes the 2027 intake. Two of UiA's four English-taught bachelor's are music performance degrees, so for them the deadline is December, not 1 March.

What it is
Music production, sound design, composition and arranging with electronic music theory and history, from electronic pop and club music to live electronics, ambient and experimental work, with one-to-one supervision.
What you need
- Entrance exam: 10–15 minutes of your own produced work plus a written statement by 15 January. The programme page says 1 March; the exam page says apply by 15 December.
Requirements in full
Every IB applicant at University of Agder
The IB Diploma meets the entry requirement, and English at any grade that passes, SL or HL, covers English. The two music degrees add an entrance exam.
How places are decided
- Judged on your own produced music and a written statement, for artistic potential and your own ideas rather than technical polish.
