What it is

You study financial accounting, microeconomics, management principles, corporate finance, financial markets, sustainable finance and professional financial terminology. Practical elements include a mandatory internship, training on financial databases in the Bloomberg Finance Lab, business simulations, guest lectures from senior managers, and a semester-five window for international exchange. You choose among three majors: Corporate Finance and Financial Markets, Green Finance, or FinTech and Digital Transformation in Finance. Graduates work in finance departments of international companies and financial institutions, in sustainable finance, consulting or entrepreneurship, and can continue to the university's master's in finance and accounting or to double degrees at ISEG Lisbon, Aston or IESEG.

What you need

  • Your three best IB exam subjects convert to points (HL 7 = 200, SL 7 = 150); English programmes need at least 350, e.g. three SL 6s. The IB Diploma counts as proof of English.
