What it is

You study mathematical analysis and linear algebra, probability and mathematical statistics, research design, demography, mathematical economics, econometrics, operational research, finance and insurance mathematics, programming, information systems design and databases. Laboratory classes in small groups put modern tools to use on real examples and empirical analysis. You choose between two specialisations: Econometrics, for building and interpreting models in economics, finance and social sciences, or Methods of Decision Analysis, with risk assessment and data analysis. Graduates work in organisations that apply mathematical, statistical, econometric and information tools, start their own business, or go on to a master's degree; exchange, double degree and Erasmus+ options exist.

What you need

  • Any IB Diploma qualifies and proves B2 English; no subject minimums. Non-Polish applicants must pass SGH's short online entrance test (30% pass mark), which adds no points.
