Deadlines

30 June 2027
Jagiellonian University - 2027/28 admissions must be open by this dateDetails
From annex 1 to Senate resolution 62/V/2026, in Polish: "Rekrutacja rozpoczyna się nie później niż 30 czerwca 2027 roku i kończy się nie później niż 1 października 2027 roku." A latest-possible opening rather than the opening: in 2026 the School of Medicine in English opened in February and the main rounds on 1 June.

IB results releasedDetails
Some Polish deadlines fall after this — Poznan Medical closes on 20 July. Where one closes earlier, ask the university how it takes IB results that arrive later.

24 September 2027
Jagiellonian University - last day to hand in documents promised at enrolmentHard deadlineDetails
A genuine 2027 date with a stated penalty, from annex 1 to Senate resolution 62/V/2026: a candidate who undertook at enrolment to supply a missing document has until 24 September 2027, with the date of arrival at the faculty counting rather than the date of posting, and failure produces an administrative decision that blocks starting the course. This matters to an IB candidate whose apostilled diploma may be slow to arrive.

What it is
The programme brings together law, politics, economics, history, social relations, culture and communication to study globalisation and international development. You can focus on a particular part of the world or on specific global problems. The faculty runs courses under agreements with foreign universities and takes part in Erasmus+, CEEPUS, the Utrecht Network and Una Europa exchanges. Graduates are prepared for public administration, international organisations, NGOs, international companies, cultural institutions, media and publishing, or for master's study such as International Security and Development.
What you need
- No IB points or subjects are set: non-Polish applicants to most English bachelor's are ranked on an online interview in English alone. The IB needs no apostille or translation.

How places are decided
- Ranked 100% on an online interview in English; IB grades do not count. 60 places for non-Polish citizens in 2027.
