What it is
Classical sociology meets analytical skills: labour studies, urban sociology, migration studies, digital cultures, big data analytics, research methodology, critical theories of technology, coding basics, statistical modelling, qualitative research and data visualisation. Learning is by doing, in research workshops, analysing real datasets and designing your own studies, with training in presenting findings to policymakers, NGOs, social movements and companies. Graduates are prepared for work in policy analysis, data and research consultancy, urban development, migration and integration services, digital innovation, public administration, NGOs and international bodies, or for a master's in the social sciences.
What you need
- IB holders skip the foreigners' entrance exam on every bachelor's except Biotechnology. The IB Diploma counts as B2 English and needs no recognition in Poland.
