What it is

Economics taught in English over six semesters (180–195 ECTS), with electives from management, social sciences and law, or an internship. Only three first-year maths courses can optionally be taken in Portuguese.

  • Maths AA (SL or HL) or AI HLReplaces the Mathematics A entrance exam (CNAES table 2026); at least 9.5 of 20

EU citizens apply through Portugal's national contest: your IB grade, converted to 0–200, plus IB exams in place of Portuguese entrance exams; each exam at least 9.5 of 20 (2026 criteria).
