What it is
Public and global health: policy, programmes, epidemiology, biostatistics and health economics, for work in health bodies in Portugal and international organisations. Taught in English (180 ECTS).
What you need
- No single subject required: Maths AA or AI (SL or HL) alone meets the exam rule; other sets use Biology, Portuguese or Economics (2026 criteria).

Every IB applicant at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa
EU citizens apply through the national contest: IB final grade 50%, IB exams replacing entrance exams 50%. NOVA IMS degrees need Maths AA (SL/HL) or AI HL.
How places are decided
- National contest: 50% final school grade, 50% entrance exams; at least 100 of 200 overall and 95 per exam. 2026 criteria.
