- School of Accountancy: Bachelor of Accountancy; predicted IB results, then an interview if shortlisted.
- Lee Kong Chian School of Business: Bachelor of Business Management with ten majors; predicted IB results, then an interview if shortlisted.
- School of Economics: BSc Economics; a good pass in IB Maths at HL or SL is expected.
- School of Computing and Information Systems: Information Systems, Computer Science, Computing and Law, Software Engineering; Computer Science needs a good pass in IB Maths.
- School of Social Sciences: Psychology, Political Science and Sociology, or Politics, Law and Economics; predicted IB results, then an interview if shortlisted.
- Yong Pung How School of Law: Grade 6 or 7 in English A, then a writing test and interview for those shortlisted.
- College of Integrative Studies: Explore for a year before declaring a degree, or design your own individualised major.
What it asks of IB students
May sitters apply on teacher-attested predicted scores (self-declared ones are refused). Law needs grade 6 or 7 in English A; Economics and Computer Science need a good pass in IB Maths. Ask SMU for a minimum total.

EU students can take the MOE Tuition Grant, which cuts the fee but requires you to work for a Singapore entity for three years after graduating.

- EU students can take the MOE Tuition Grant, which cuts the fee but requires you to work for a Singapore entity for three years after graduating.
- Fees are fixed for your cohort across the normal four years; without the grant the Business Management fee is S$47,700 a year (2026/27).
- SMU asks for official IB results sent directly by the IB once you accept an offer and enrol, even if you first self-report your results.
