What it is
Biology, chemistry, physics and genetics combined with mathematics and computer science, for analysing data and modelling biological systems. Three years (180 ECTS) in Koper and Izola.

Every IB applicant at University of Primorska
The IB Diploma counts as a Slovenian general matura with no recognition step, and the IB result stands in for school years 3–4 in the ranking. The IB certificate alone needs recognition.
How places are decided
- If places run short: 70% overall IB result converted to the Slovenian scale, 30% school years 3–4 (the IB result counts for both). 2026/27 rules; 2027 not yet published.
