Early Action (non-binding, open to international applicants) closesDetails
MIT publishes the day without a year, so 2026 is expected rather than confirmed. The application form and fee are due that day; only teachers' letters may arrive later. Early Action is not binding, but the deadline is firm.

MIT financial aid application, Regular ActionHard deadlineDetails
Published on MIT's deadlines page as "February 15" with no calendar year, so 2027 is expected rather than confirmed. MIT's Regular Action application closes on 4 January, so the aid papers are due six weeks after the application — long enough to forget about.

What it is
Course 6 runs a family of degrees from electrical science to computer science, AI and decision-making, computation and cognition, and computer science with economics and data science, with a hands-on approach.
What you need
- No IB points minimum is published. Your school sends predicted IB grades if available; only admitted students send final results. SAT or ACT is required.

How places are decided
- You apply to MIT, not to a major; everyone starts undeclared and can then choose any course with no further admission step.
