What it is
You build a base in mathematical analysis, functional analysis and numerical mathematics alongside physics and computer science, and learn to turn mathematics into working applications on modern computers. Three tracks let you specialise: mathematical modelling of biological, environmental and materials phenomena, mathematical physics with links to quantum technologies, or mathematical informatics, covering programming, networks, GPU computing, image analysis and neural networks. Graduates go into research, IT and industry as software developers or data analysts, or continue to the follow-up master's.
What you need
- B2 English certificate required: Cambridge B2 (e.g. FCE), IELTS 5.5, TOEFL at B2 or TELC B2.
