What it is

Across six semesters you study mathematics, physics, mechanics, strength of materials, thermomechanics and fluid dynamics, together with materials science, casting, forming, welding and machining, electrical circuits, machine elements, automatic control and digital design. Lectures are balanced with tutorials and laboratory work, and the last year centres on projects and the bachelor thesis. There are no formal specialisations; groups of elective courses in transport, technology and energy let you point your thesis in a direction. Graduates are prepared for any engineering master's or technical roles in industry.

What you need

  • Scio online test "Mathematics in English" at the 50th percentile or better. Recommended English level B2 (IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 65).

CTU says IB Diploma holders skip its assessment and nostrification: send certified copies straight to the faculty. Each faculty sets its own test or interview; none asks for IB points.
