What it is

The degree trains IT specialists who also understand the business side, with theoretical and practical knowledge of informatics, economics, management, commerce, bookkeeping and law, so that they can work as equal partners to IT specialists in organisations. You learn to apply information and communication technology to organisational processes and take part in shaping information strategy. The final state exam covers economics and management, quantitative methods, and computer systems and information engineering. Graduates work in specialised software firms, consultancies, financial institutions and state administration, or continue to a master's.

What you need

  • The entrance exam is Scio's online GAP test in maths and English, paid to Scio directly. No IB subject or points minimum.

How places are decided

    • Test score (SAT, ACT or similar)
Ranked on Scio's online GAP test (0-100, maths and English); the committee sets a pass threshold each stage. One attempt per stage; a GAP result from 2023-26 can be uploaded.
