What you could study here

What it asks of IB students

CZU's own recognition page says IB Diploma holders need no evaluation, so no extra fee. It asks for no IB points or subjects: each faculty admits on a Scio GAP test or an interview.

Where it says so

Worth knowing

English-taught study is charged to EU citizens too: CZK 12,500 a year at four faculties, about CZK 13,000 at Engineering and Tropical AgriSciences; non-EU students pay CZK 25,000-80,000.

All 3 notes
  • English-taught study is charged to EU citizens too: CZK 12,500 a year at four faculties, about CZK 13,000 at Engineering and Tropical AgriSciences; non-EU students pay CZK 25,000-80,000.
  • Some faculty regulations still ask for nostrification of a foreign diploma; CZU's recognition page says the IB Diploma is recognised automatically, so point the faculty to it and send the diploma at enrolment.
  • Each faculty runs its own application (CZK 850 each, non-refundable) and its own test: applying to two faculties means paying and testing twice.
