What it is
A three-year degree shared with partner universities in Belgium, the Netherlands, Finland, the United Kingdom, Poland and Croatia. The first year covers comparative sociology, economics, climate science, urban development, statistics, environmental technology and cultural geography; the next two years are built from three minors on topics such as urban health, sustainable business, smart cities, urban ecology and sustainable tourism, chosen across partner universities. You work in project-based Challenge Teams solving real sustainability problems, spend at least two periods at partner universities, and write a bachelor thesis. The degree leads to specialised master's programmes.
What you need
- Pre-apply on the YUFE website; UC3M's 15 places are allocated only on your admission grade through the Madrid pre-enrolment in July.
