What it is

This double degree covers engineering design, programming and electricity, thermodynamics, nuclear power engineering, power plant engineering, energy economics and sustainability science, organised around physical phenomena, energy conversion and the machinery used for it. Teaching combines lectures, extensive laboratory work, company visits and projects, ending in a bachelor's thesis. You complete the whole degree in Finland and receive certificates from both LUT and Hebei University of Technology. Graduates work as development engineers, design engineers, reactor engineers and energy consultants, or continue to master's programmes in energy conversion, nuclear engineering or sustainable energy systems.
